Community Health Camps
Our flagship health camps bring comprehensive medical services directly to underserved communities across Vijayawada and Andhra Pradesh. Over 15 years, we have conducted regular division-by-division medical camps covering 64+ divisions, each staffed by a multidisciplinary team of specialist doctors including general physicians, gynaecologists, orthopaedics, dentists, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, dermatologists, and paediatricians. Services provided at each camp include blood tests, sugar tests, blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, complete eye check-ups, and free medicine distribution. Every camp is designed to ensure no community is left behind — bringing quality healthcare to doorsteps where access to hospitals and clinics is limited by distance, cost, or mobility challenges. This division-by-division approach has served thousands of patients and continues to expand.
Subsidised Dental Care
Oral health is a critical yet often neglected component of overall wellbeing. NADI Foundation's dental care programme partners with established dental clinics in Vijayawada to provide subsidised treatments for individuals and families who cannot afford standard dental fees. Services include routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive treatments. By subsidising costs rather than offering free care, we create a sustainable model that supports both patients and clinic partners while maintaining dignity and quality. This is our most active programme and serves as a primary gateway for community members to engage with our foundation.
Mobile Medical Units
For communities in remote and rural areas where healthcare facilities are scarce or nonexistent, NADI Foundation deploys mobile medical units equipped with essential diagnostic tools and supplies. These units travel to predetermined locations on regular schedules, providing basic medical consultations, health screenings, and medicine distribution. The mobile unit programme is designed to bridge the gap between urban healthcare infrastructure and rural health needs, ensuring that geography does not determine health outcomes. Each unit is staffed by qualified medical professionals and carries a curated supply of commonly needed medications.
Telemedicine Services
Leveraging digital technology to extend healthcare access, our telemedicine programme connects patients in underserved areas with qualified medical practitioners via video consultations. This service is particularly valuable for follow-up appointments, specialist consultations, and mental health support — areas where physical access to specialists is often limited. Our telemedicine infrastructure supports multiple languages and is designed to work with basic smartphone connectivity, making it accessible even in low-bandwidth environments. We are actively expanding this programme as connectivity improves across rural India.
Health Education & Awareness
Prevention is the most effective form of healthcare. NADI Foundation conducts health education workshops and awareness drives in schools, community centres, and public spaces across our service areas. Topics include hygiene and sanitation, nutrition, maternal health, disease prevention, mental health awareness, and the importance of regular health check-ups. We work with local educators, anganwadi workers, and community leaders to deliver culturally appropriate, language-specific content that resonates with diverse audiences. Our educational materials are designed to be simple, actionable, and memorable.
Medicine Distribution
Access to affordable medication remains a significant barrier for many families in India. NADI Foundation operates a medicine distribution programme that provides essential medicines at subsidised rates or, in cases of acute financial hardship, at no cost. We focus on chronic disease management medications, pediatric medicines, and basic first aid supplies. This programme works in coordination with our health camps and mobile units to ensure that patients who receive consultations also have access to the medicines prescribed. We maintain careful inventory records and source medicines from verified suppliers to ensure safety and efficacy.
